This is the Privacy Policy for Lavanika Academy Pty Ltd ACN 663 950 605 (“Privacy Policy“).
This Privacy Policy describes how Lavanika Academy Pty Ltd collects, uses, and shares your personal data whether you interact with us on our websites, or in person (including by phone or when visiting our training centers). Lavanika Academy Pty Ltd may also link to third parties on our services or make study material available for viewing via thrid party applications such as Google Drive. Lavanika Academy Pty Ltd Privacy Policy does not apply to how third parties define personal data or how they use it. 2.1 The kind of information we collect from you will depend on how you use the Website and our Services. 6. Complaint procedure
If you have a complaint concerning the manner in which we maintain the privacy of your personal information, please contact us at privacy@lavanika.academy. All complaints will be considered by Privacy Office and we may seek further information from you to clarify your concerns. If we agree that your complaint is well founded, we will, in consultation with you, take appropriate steps to rectify the problem. We aim to acknowledge receipt of all complaints within 10 working days; and resolve all complaints within 90 working days, however, this may not be possible in all circumstances. Where we cannot resolve a complaint within 90 days, we will notify you of the reason for the delay as well as an indication of when we expect to resolve the complaint.
7. Overseas transfer
Your personal information may be transferred to recipients located in the United States of America and other foreign countries. You consent to us transferring your personal information to in the United States of America and other foreign countries, in the knowledge that if your personal information is mishandled in that jurisdiction, we disclaim responsibility and you will not have a remedy under Australian Law.
8. GDPR
In some circumstances, the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) provides additional protection to individuals located in Europe. The fact that you may be located in Europe does not, however, on its own entitle you to protection under the GDPR. Our website does not specifically target customers located in European Union and we do not monitor the behaviour of individuals in the European Union, and accordingly the GDPR does not apply.
