It is a one day Refresher Course and includes skilled osce simulation-based practice, task execution, and examiner-focused performance strategies.

• Dentists aiming for mastery in time-bound procedural OSCE scenarios.

📚 What You’ll Learn

• ✅ Execute skilled osce task procedures with precision, *except for Rubber dam and matrix band placement. Rubber dam and matrix band steps are explained without demo.
• ✅ Apply global rating and checklist criteria used by examiners.
• ✅ Understand examiner expectations and feedback patterns.

🧪 What Is the Skilled OSCE?

The Skilled OSCE refers to the technical/procedural stations within the ADC Clinical Skills Day. These tasks simulate real-life dental procedures in a controlled, timed setting using typodonts, manikins, or dental equipment.

Typical skills assessed:

• X-Ray
• Local Anesthesia
• Extraction
• CPR
• Syncope management
• Scaling
• Pit and Fissure Sealants
• Rubber dam placement
• Matrix band placement
• Infection control and ergonomics

These are different from communication OSCEs as they test technical competence and clinical safety.
